Paul Caron, CPA, CMA
CEO
Paul has been involved with accounting and ERP software for over 30 years. The majority of his experience has been as a consultant assisting clients with the implementation of business management software. As a CPA, Paul worked in the public sector, private industry, and public practice. For over 23 years, he has successfully managed Caron Business Solutions, taking it from a start-up business to an international firm.
Paul has a special interest in the mining industry – an industry that Caron has focused on for many years. To say mining is in his blood is no exaggeration. Paul was born in Cassiar, a mining town in northern BC. He has worked in many roles in mining from shoveling ore in the crusher and surveying to consulting and the creation of Caron Mining Solutions.
Paul brings a well-rounded perspective to business management software implementation projects. His depth of knowledge and expertise in business process analysis has benefited several clients.
In his spare time, Paul is an avid runner, having completed 6 marathons and numerous half marathons. Paul supports charities in Canada and South America including the SPCA, World Vision, and is a supporter of the arts scene in Vancouver and Lima.

Jackie Lau, CPA, CGA
Controller
Jackie has been a member of the Caron team since 2008 as our Corporate Controller. As a Certified Professional Accountant, Jackie handles all internal accounting responsibilities at Caron. She also provides accounting related services to our clients, both on a regular basis and on an ad-hoc or short term contract basis. Jackie has extensive knowledge of MS Excel and various Sage products.
With her experience, expertise in accounting practices, and business management skills, she is an essential member of the Caron management team.
When not in the office, Jackie likes to explore the walks and hikes of Vancouver and the West Coast.

Luis Guillermo Palmer Lara
Director of Services / Peru Country Manager
As Director of Services, Luis is responsible for the implementation of our ERP solutions and specializes in Acumatica. Luis is responsible for hiring, developing, and mentoring the world-class Caron consulting teams.
As our Peru Country Manager, Luis is in charge of the entire operation in the country, from overseeing logistics, develop new business, and ensure profitability to managing overall operations, recruiting staff, and creating budgets.
Before joining Caron in 2019, Luis gained extensive experience working for Fortune 100 companies managing a variety of projects including software development of ERP, billing and POS systems, and managing global and multi-cultural teams.
When he’s not at work, you might find Luis playing basketball, watching movies or discovering the local cuisine.
