What do you mean when you say you are a Sage "Authorized Training Centre?"
Lots of people offer Sage courses, but we are the only Training Centre is B.C. that is fully accredited. We offer things the other guys can’t: a computer for every student to work on, official Sage manuals included in your cost, certificates of completion after every course, and a comprehensive syllabus sanctioned by Sage. |
All this talk about Sage and ACCPAC... Do you offer training for other programs or software?
Yes! We also have regularly scheduled courses on Microsoft Word and Excel, and Fundamentals of Accounting. If you have a suggestion for a course that we do not offer, please suggest it! If you want it, then that probably means that others do too. We also offer custom training, tailored to suit your exact needs. Will I get a certificate of some kind?
You will receive a certificate to verify that you have successfully completed the course at the Caron Corporate Learning Centre.

I'm working hard to advance my career. Do these courses ladder into a certification program?
Yes! We offer Profession-Based Certification Tracks for Sage Accpac ERP. We have both Specialist and Professional Tracks, depending on what kind of training you desire. How many people are in the class? Will there be a chance to talk one-on-one with the instructor?
With a maximum of only ten people per class, there is lots of time for one-on-one attention from the instructor, as well as question time. |
What is the minimum number of students needed to run a course. Are you going to cancel on me?
One! If you are registered in one of our courses, we promise that we will not cancel it. |

What if I have questions after the course is finished?
We make every effort to answer all your question during class, but sometimes a question arises after the course is finished (say, when you get home and start working with your own data). For the first 2 months after a course, you are welcome to e-mail questions you have to our Training Coordinator at training@caronbusiness.com. Please note that questions cannot always be answered on the same day, as our trainers are frequently training. |
What time do training courses start?
Training runs from 9:00am until approximately 4:00pm, although if there are only a few people, it might be a bit earlier, or if there are lots of people, it might be a bit later. There is a 30 minute lunch break and two 15 minute coffee breaks. |
What should I bring and what should I wear?
Bring a notebook and a pen. We take care of everything else!
Often our trainees dress is “business casual” but there is no dress code. Dress comfortably! Sometimes the Training Centre can get a bit chilly, so you might want to bring a sweater. |
Are there pop quizzes or tests?
No. No test anxiety, no all-night cramming sessions, no brain freeze, no nightmares about standing in front of the class. No worries! |
Should I bring a lunch? Is there a cafeteria onsite?
No need to bring your own lunch. We serve a light breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack, as well as coffee, tea, juice and water throughout the day. Is parking available?
Parking is only $6.00 all day. The meter accepts quarters, loonies, and toonies as well as Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. Please note that sometimes the machine has trouble with credit cards with chips in them, so you may want to bring change, just in case. |
Can I get to the Training Centre using public transit?
There are 4 buses that stop near our location: 110, 123, 129, and 144. All of these buses connect to the Sky Train. The closest stop is on Canada Way at Ledger Ave. To plan a route, please visit Translink’s site. I'm coming in from out of town. Where can I stay?
There are several nice hotels nearby.
